Smt. Sunita Gupta has been appointed as Trustee on the Board of NPS Trust with effect from 25th July, 2024. She is an accomplished finance professional with 38 years of experience in banking and financial services industry.

Presently she is serving as an Independent Director on the Board of Incred Financial Services (erstwhile known as KKR India Financial Services Limited) since March 30, 2023. Also a member of Board level committees viz. Audit Committee, CSR Committee, IT Strategy Committee and Stakeholders Relationship Committee.

She was an Executive Director (Whole time Director) on the Board Of PNB Gilts Ltd, a leading Primary Dealer in Govt Securities. She also served as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
During her tenure at PNB Gilts, Ms. Gupta played a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. She was responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and investor relations. Additionally, she was also looking after corporate affairs, corporate governance, Board matters, Audits, IT, administration, vigilance, controls and assurance functions of the Company.

Prior to joining PNB Gilts, Ms. Gupta held senior finance positions at Punjab National Bank, 2nd largest public sector bank in India. She has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis and treasury operations. She served as a member of the Governing body of Miranda House, Kirorimal College and Bharati College, the prestigious colleges of Delhi University. Regularly conducted lectures on Investment Management and related topics for Banks and other institutions at National Institute of Financial Management, (NIFM) sponsored by Ministry of Finance, GOI National Bank Staff College of NABARD, Lucknow Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) run by NABARD, apex organization for Agricultural and Rural Development. Punjab National Bank Regional Training Center. Post Graduate Management Institutes and other Institutional Training Organization. Attended a number of training programmes on treasury management conducted by BTC, RBI and NIBM, Pune. Attended training programme on Euro Money Bond Programme conducted by Euro Finance. Participated in multiple FIMMDA-PDAI Annual conferences.

Ms. Gupta holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lady Sri Ram College of Delhi University and Master's degree Economics from Delhi School of Economics. She is a Certified associate from Indian Institute of Bankers.
