Shri Debasish Mallick has been appointed as Trustee on the Board of NPS Trust with effect from 23rd November, 2022.

He has a distinguished career in the fields of Development Banking, Investment Banking, Commercial Banking and Equity & Debt Capital markets. He has wide ranging experience in Project Appraisal/ Risk Evaluation, Financial Structuring and Financing of Infrastructure projects, including PPP projects. He has handled public issue and private placement of bonds for resource raising in domestic and international markets.

He is currently Member of the Rating Review Committee (RRC) of ICRA Ratings. He is also working as an Arbitrator with National Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange, Metropolitan Stock Exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange and other Commodity Exchanges. He is Independent Director on the Board of Aditya Birla Sunlife Trustees Pvt. Ltd., Ghatge Patil Industries Ltd., CapSavvy Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and MyLead FinTech Pvt. Ltd.

He has served as Deputy Managing Director of Export-Import Bank of India for the period July, 2014 to July, 2019 and MD & CEO of IDBI Asset Management Limited for the period April, 2011 to July, 2014. He has also served as Chief General Manager of IDBI Bank Limited where he has headed project and corporate credit functions, including infrastructure and renewables, resource raising in the international and domestic markets, launching bond issuance and floating IPOs. He was also in charge of rating department of IDBI, which handled the corporate rating of IDBI, where he has worked intensively with domestic and international rating agencies, viz. CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, S&P, Moody’s and FITCH Rating.
