PFRDA (Aggregator) Regulations, 2015

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Aggregator) Regulations, 2015 notified on 10th March 2015.
The Regulation aims to provide regulatory framework for registration of Aggregators and monitor implementation of National Pension System for the best interest of the target subscribers.
These regulations shall be applicable to the–NPS-Lite under National Pension System, (also referred to as NPS-Swavalamban), which is a low-cost, feature optimized group model, aimed at unorganised and economically disadvantaged sections of the society.

Further, in order to deepen the penetration of National Pension System and and other social security schemes by strengthening the distribution channels, fresh regulations titled Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Point of Presence) Regulations, 2018 were notified on 25th June 2018 repealing the previous regulations viz. the PFRDA (PoP) Regulations, 2015 and the PFRDA (Aggregator) Regulations, 2015 and the amendments made thereof.
